Which systems are supported?
Windows 10 version 2004 or later and Windows 11. On Mac, macOS 13 or later, on Apple silicon and Intel.
Does Presentation mode use AI or send my screen anywhere?
No. Presentation mode uses no AI and takes no screenshots. The teleprompter works offline.
What does Quiz mode send?
A screenshot of your main screen goes through our server and is sent to our AI provider to produce answers. We do not store screenshots or answers. Close private windows first.
Is the panel visible when I share my screen?
Presentation mode is hidden from screen sharing and recordings. Quiz mode is visible in screen shares and recordings, by design.
Does it work offline?
The teleprompter works offline. Quiz mode needs an internet connection.
How many devices can I use?
Your subscription is per user and covers up to 2 devices.
What if an answer is wrong?
AI answers can be wrong. Check anything important and use the answers to support your learning.
Can I use it in an exam or interview?
Only if the rules allow it. We do not provide this tool to break rules. Follow the rules of your school, employer or exam provider.
Can I get a refund?
A 7-day refund is available if less than 10% of the allowance is used.
How do I get my product key?
Your product key is emailed after purchase. Payments are not open yet; join the waitlist to hear when they open.
Why does Windows show an installer warning?
The installer is not yet code-signed. When installing the official PromptDesk-Setup.exe download, click “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
How are Quiz answers counted?
A screen that was already answered is not charged again. Extra answers last 12 months and can be bought any time from your account page.
